What is pure C8 MCT?

Medium chain triglyceride (MCT) oil, pure C8, made from sustainably sourced coconut oil.

It is a medium-chain fatty acid that, because it has a low molecular weight, is absorbed directly from the intestine, without the need for pancreatic enzymes to enter the blood, even in cases of malabsorption. Not only does it provide energy to enterocytes, but when it reaches the liver through blood, where it can also enter hepatocytes without the need for a carrier or enzyme, it is metabolized as Ac CoA and a ketone body, products that already allow the mitochondria to generate energy with them immediately.
