What is NutriMK7® Cardio?
NutriMK7® cardio is a dietary supplement based on Vitamin K2 in the form of Menaquinone 7 (MK7), fish oil (omega-3) and vitamin D3; which helps us to take advantage of calcium, that is, to fix it in the bones and keep it out of the walls of the arteries.
Vitamin K2 helps promote a healthy cardiovascular system1 by helping blood clotting. In NutriMK7®, vitamin K2 is of vegetable origin (extracted from the fermentation of chickpeas) in the form of Menaquinone 7 (MK-7), due to its better bioavailability.
How does Menaquinone 7 (MK7) work?
A good use of calcium requires that it be deposited, especially in bone structures, and to remain away from the arteries. This task depends on the synthesis of proteins dependent on vitamin K, osteocalcin and the matrix protein GLA. This reaction is essential for optimal and healthy calcium utilization.

For proper calcium metabolism, vitamin D3 is incorporated into the formula.
Vitamin K1 facilitates the incorporation of calcium into bones, while vitamin D facilitates the absorption and utilization of calcium from food.
Finally, it contains fish oil2, which provides omega 3 (EPA and DHA) and helps the absorption of these vitamins.
Cardiovascular Health and Vitamin K2
In cardiovascular health, vitamin K activates Gla proteins in the extracellular matrix (MGP), which are responsible for protecting arteries from calcium deposits.
Whats so special about NutriMK7®?
Vitamin K2 — MenaQ7®
It contains MenaQ7®, a patented vitamin K2 clinically validated as MK-7. MenaQ7® is produced under GMP standards, with garbanzos that are not genetically modified. It is free of gluten, dairy products and soy.
All K vitamins have a similar structure, but they differ in the length of the “side chain”: the longer the side chain, the better the effect and effectiveness. Consequently, long-chain menaquinones (especially MK-7) are the most desirable, since they are almost completely absorbed (the body requires smaller doses) and remain in the blood for a longer time. This makes vitamin K2 also available to tissues, i.e. bones, arteries and soft tissues.
MK-7 is more effective because of its greater:
- Absorption and lifespan.
- Maintaining blood levels.
Vitamin D3
It contains vitamin D in the most bioactive form: cholecalciferol (D3).
Fish oil (Omega-3, EPA and DHA)
It contains fish oil, which provides omega 3 (EPA and DHA) and helps the absorption of these two fat-soluble vitamins.
