What is OmegaConfort7® Forte Metabolic PL+?
OmegaConfort7® Forte Metabolic PL+ is a dietary supplement of omega-7 of marine origin, specifically formulated to support metabolic well-being, while also offering high absorption and bioavailability. Its formula combines purified palmitoleic acid, krill phospholipids, and choline.
It contains a patented omega-7 concentrate, purified palmitoleic acid (Provinal®), which also contains less than 1% palmitic acid.
This purified palmitoleic acid is combined with PL+ technology, a concentrate of phospholipids from Antarctic krill that, in addition to improving the absorption of omega-7, provides a bioavailable source of omega-3 (EPA and DHA) and choline.
The product also contains vitamin E.
How can it help us?
- Choline contributes to normal lipid and homocysteine metabolism and to the maintenance of normal liver function.
- Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contribute to the normal functioning of the heart. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA.
- Vitamin E (tocopherols) contributes to the protection of cells against oxidative damage.

Omega-7, purified palmitoleic acid
Omega-7 or palmitoleic acid (C16:1 n-7) is a non-essential, monounsaturated fatty acid that is part of the membranes of mucosal cells, along with other unsaturated fatty acids, being essential for both their structure and function
Provinal® as a pure and effective source to enhance the qualities of palmitoleic acid
- The omega-7 contained in OmegaConfort7® (Provinal®) can be considered a new generation of omega-7. It is a concentrate with a minimum of 50% pure palmitoleic acid and no saturated fats (palmitic acid), present in other sources of omega-7.

PL+ technology to improve omega-7 absorption
PL+ technology is an excellent option to improve the absorption and bioavailability of highly lipophilic molecules that are poorly soluble in water, such as ubiquinol. It consists of the use of phospholipids from Antarctic krill oil, which provides a flexible structure that can optimally "accommodate" different lipophilic components, forming micelles. In this way, the different lipophilic nutrients are easily incorporated into the tissues in a more effective and efficient way.
