What is ChondroArtil ® with UC-II® collagen?
ChondroArtil ® with UC-II ® collagen, is a dietary supplement, which in addition to the main ingredient: undenatured type 2 collagen (UC-II ®), incorporates vitamins C, D3 and K2, copper and manganese.
A set of nutrients designed to help keep bones in good condition 1, 2 and for the formation and maintenance of connective tissue (supporting tissue) 3, 4 and collagen 1.
What is Collagen?
Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body (25%) and is a fundamental component of connective tissues, such as skin, tendons and bone, where it performs a structural function providing support and resistance.
Collagen is not a single protein, it is a family of closely related but genetically distinct molecules. Several types of collagen are described that differ from each other, due to the way in which their fibrils are distributed. What is UC-II ® Type 2 “undenatured” collagen?
UC-II ® is a non-denatured collagen. Unlike hydrolyzed collagens, UC-II ® has a different and unique mechanism of action. It acts through a process called oral tolerance in which the immune system participates and makes it possible to achieve the desired results with a small dose of only 40 mg/day.

It contributes to the maintenance of bones under normal conditions.
