Acmella oleracea
Acmella oleracea (L.) R.J. Jansen. (synonym Spillanthes acmella var. oleracea (L.) CB Clarke) is a plant of the genus Acmella (Asteraceae family) native to tropical America. In Brazil it is known as “jambu”, “sour-do-para” and also as the “plant for toothache”, because the inhabitants of the Amazon chewed its flowers and leaves to alleviate toothaches, mouths and throats. The aerial parts are used.
Among its many bioactive components, alkylamides and phenolic compounds are the main components, most notably spilantol, an isobutylamide.
The extract contained in SindOril comes from own crops located on the island of Sardinia, to optimize the quality of the biomass of this plant.

Ginger (Zingiber officinale Roscoe) is an herbal plant of the Zingiberaceae family native to Southeast Asia, whose culinary use is widespread and has been used since ancient times, both in China and India, to improve digestion, to alleviate cold symptoms, to alleviate muscle pain and control the inflammatory response. The components zingiberene, beta-sesquiphelandren, curcumene, beta-bisabolene, beta-farnesene, camphene and gingerol and shogaol are the main bioactive components of ginger extracts responsible for their various activities.

Whats so special about SindOril?
- With Mitidol ®: food ingredient produced by the company Indena that, with its own technology, starts from oily extracts of ginger and acmella, to obtain an ingredient.
- Acmella extract (Acmella oleracea) is standardized at 0.30-0.60% of spilantol. Cultivated on the island of Sardinia, to optimize the quality of the biomass of this plant.
- Ginger root CO2 extract (Zingiber officinale) is standardized at 2.4-3.9% of total gingerols and shogaols.
- The combination of the extracts results in a synergistic action.
