What is MaquiComfort®?
MaquiComfort ® is a dietary supplement that contains a patented extract of Maqui berries (MaquiBright ®) standardized in flavonoids: 35% of total anthocyanins, with delphinidins predominating. The extract is supplemented with yeast enriched with chromium and vitamins B2 and C. Vitamins B2 and C help protect cells against oxidative damage. Vitamin B2 also contributes to the maintenance of vision and mucous membranes. Chromium-enriched yeast is an organic form of this highly absorbed mineral, and chromium helps maintain healthy blood glucose levels

El Maqui
The Maqui (Aristotelia chilensis Stuntz) is a tree that is abundant in Patagonia in Chile and Argentina, a geographical area with extreme climatic conditions and is one of the sacred trees of the Mapuches, the original inhabitants of the area. It is a small, evergreen tree that reaches a height of between 4-5 m. It blooms from November to December (the southern spring) with whitish flowers. The fruits of this tree are small berries of intense purple, dark and shiny color that go by the same name, in fact “maki” in the Mapuche language means fruit. The inhabitants of the area have used Maqui berries as food since time immemorial and are part of typical dishes. They also drink their juice and make an alcoholic beverage called Tecu from the fermented juice. In addition, the tender stems and leaves are
edible.

Traditionally, Mapuches have used Maqui berries to cause sweating and to promote the removal of fluids and mucus. It has also been used as a digestive. The fruits owe their intense, dark purple color to their anthocyanidins, substances of great importance for their beneficial effects
on health.
What is special about MaquiComfort®?
- In the formula we find a patented extract of Maqui berries: MaquiBright ®, standardized in anthocyanins, among which delphinidins stand out.
- The berries used for the extract come from Chilean Patagonia, where they are traditionally harvested by Mapuche families. The harvest takes place in the southern summer: from the end of December in the northern part to the end of February in the southern part.
- The formula is completed with vitamins B2 and C that help protect cells against oxidative damage. Vitamin B2 also contributes to the maintenance of vision and mucous membranes .
- A highly absorbent organic form of chromium is incorporated: chromium-enriched yeast (NutraFast®). Chromium helps maintain healthy blood glucose levels.
