What is Probiotic Caps ® Forte?
Probiotc Caps ® Forte is a food supplement based on synbiotics (beneficial bacteria + FOS).
It contains 20 billion Colony Forming Units (CFU) of Lactobacillus acidophillus DDS1, Bifidobacterium lactis UABLA-12, Bifidobacterium longum UABL-14, Lactobacillus plantarum UALP-05, Lactobacillus casei UACL-03, Lactobacillus rhamnosus UALR-06 and Streptococcus thermophilus UAST-09, to which fructooligosaccharides (FOS) are incorporated as fiber.
The strains used are widely studied strains, with a high capacity to adhere to intestinal cells and resistant to bile salts and gastric acids. In addition, the vegetable capsule also protects them effectively. They have the advantage of not needing to be kept cold, making them easy to use both at home and when traveling

Lactobacillus acidophilus - DDS-1 strain: Gram-positive homofermentative bacteria, does not form spores and is endogenous to the human intestinal tract. This strain has been extensively studied, even in humans, and has been sold on the market for more than 30 years due to its high safety profile and unique properties

Bifidobacterium longum (UABL-14): Gram-positive, oval-shaped and sometimes branched bacteria. 95% of the bacteria in the intestinal flora are bifidobacteria. It is included in the “Inventory of microorganisms with a documented history of use in human food” and in the “Qualified Presumption of Safety List of the EFSA - Qualified Presumption of the EFSA Safety List
”.
Bifidobacterium lactis (UABLA-12), Lactobacillus plantarum (UALP-05) and Lactobacillus casei (UACL-03): they are included in the “list of microorganisms whose use as human food has been historically documented”.
Lactobacillus rhamnosus (UALR-06) and Streptococcus thermophilus (UAST-09): present in yogurt and cheese. These are safe strains included in the “list of microorganisms whose use as human food has been historically documented”. It does not become resistant to antibiotics
