ProbiTec ® Levura Plus is a dietary supplement containing probiotics with a total count of at least 5 billion cell-forming units (CFU) and vitamin B2.
The microbiota is the group of bacteria, fungi, viruses and parasites that live inside us, colonizing the intestine and other places such as the skin and the mouth. We have between 1-2 kg of bacteria in our digestive tract, which is 100 trillion microorganisms or 10 times more than the number of cells in the human body. Saccharomyces cerevisae var boulardii is a natural yeast that was originally isolated from lychee and mangosteen fruit by French scientist Henri Boulard, who observed natives of Southeast Asia chew the skin of lychee and mangosteen in an attempt to control cholera and diarrhea (1).
